REMOW, a global entertainment company specializing in Japanese content, has announced the premiere of Shogun’s Ninja on March 28. The film will be available exclusively to premium members of the “SAMURAI VS. NINJA” YouTube channel. Directed by Koichi Sakamoto, known for his work on Power Rangers, Kamen Rider, and Ultraman, the movie is a high-energy action spectacle, with sword fights, ninja acrobatics, and a story centered on honor and revenge. Check out the trailer below.

The film, produced by Nihon Eiga Broadcasting Corp., builds on the current popularity of Japanese historical dramas, highlighted by the Emmy-winning success of Shogun. Shogun’s Ninja is set in the 17th-century Edo period and follows Kagaribi and Okyo, descendants of the Fuma ninja clan, as they fight to restore their family’s honor. Their friend Oran is kidnapped by the Yagyu samurai, leading to a major conflict.

The film was shot at Toei Kyoto Studio in Kyoto, the same location used for Shogun. The cast features Himena Yamada (Ultraman Blazer) and Kanon Miyahara (Kamen Rider Gotchard) in leading roles. The production also includes veteran suit actors Seiji Takaiwa and Teruaki Ogawa.

Director Koichi Sakamoto described his vision for the film. “I wanted to create a film that captures the essence of classic samurai and ninja stories but with a modern, high-energy approach,” Sakamoto said. He further added, “Every fight scene is crafted to be visually stunning and emotionally gripping, keeping audiences on the edge of their seats.”
