Showtime’s “Thriller 40” Will Premiere Saturday December 2

A new documentary feature called THRILLER 40 will be premiering on Paramount+ and Showtime on Saturday, December 2. The film will also be available internationally on Paramount+ and MTV on the same day. THRILLER 40 takes viewers back in time to the making of Michael Jackson’s iconic album “Thriller,” which is the best-selling album of all time worldwide.

Director Nelson George provides never-before-seen footage and exclusive interviews to give fans a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of the record-breaking album and the release of the groundbreaking short films that accompanied it. The documentary features interviews with music and entertainment luminaries such as Usher, Mary J. Blige, Will.I.Am, Mark Ronson, Misty Copeland, Maxwell, and John Landis. THRILLER 40 is produced by Optimum Productions and Company Name, with Colin Hanks, Sean Stuart, John Branca, and John McClain serving as producers.
