Sight Unseen, April 24, 2024, The CW, “Mia”
The Canadian crime drama series Sight Unseen returns to The CW with its latest episode, “Mia.” The show, created by Karen Troubetzkoy and Nikolijne Troubetzkoy, centres on Tess Avery, a former homicide detective who loses her vision and is forced to leave her job. With the help of her visual guide, Sunny, Tess continues to solve crimes while navigating her new life as a blind woman.
In this instalment, airing on Wednesday April 24, Jake encourages Tess to consider returning to the police force by reaching out to Superintendent Bennett about getting her old job back. However, her hopes are dashed when Bennett only offers her a desk job with the Metro PD. Undeterred, Tess secretly takes on a murder case with the help of Sunny. The case involves a woman killed in her delivery van, and Tess is determined to bring justice to the victim.
The episode also explores Tess’s journey towards self-discovery and empowerment as she learns to embrace her new life and tackle the challenges of her impaired vision. With the support of her colleagues, including Jake and Mia, Tess demonstrates her resilience and commitment to overcoming obstacles.
Sight Unseen: Mia airs Wednesday April 24, 2024 at 9.00 p.m. ET on The CW.
