Lifetime is bringing back the drama, the suspense, and the wigs with “Single Black Female 3: The Final Chapter,” airing Saturday, March 22nd at 8:00 PM. Raven Goodwin and Amber Riley return as Monica and Simone, respectively, reprising their roles in this twisted tale of obsession and betrayal. Consider this the ultimate showdown, the final face-off between two women locked in a psychological battle.
Picking up after the events of the second film, Monica, now exonerated for a crime she didn’t commit, is attempting to rebuild her life. But freedom doesn’t erase the past, and suspicion still lingers. Meanwhile, Simone is on the lam in Mexico, clinging to a fragile existence, but the need to protect her daughter, Joy (newcomer Kennedy Chanel), pulls her back to Houston.
K. Michelle also returns as Monica’s ride-or-die best friend, Bebe, offering support as Monica faces the lingering doubts and whispers that follow her. Also appearing is Porsha Williams as Detective Ebony Williams, whose involvement could tip the scales in either direction.
This final chapter explores the fallout from past betrayals and the lengths one will go to for family. With old wounds resurfacing and the stakes higher than ever, “Single Black Female 3: The Final Chapter” looks set to deliver a dramatic conclusion.
“Single Black Female 3: The Final Chapter” is a Swirl Films production for Lifetime. Executive Producers include Raven Goodwin, Karen Peterkin, Monique Nash, Korin Williams, Eric Tomosunas, and Ty Walker. Keena Ferguson directs from a script by Sa’Rah L. Jones and Tessa Scott.
