In this documentary series, Suchet will retrace Christie’s footsteps on a journey known as the “Grand Tour,” which she took in the 1920s. He will visit five countries that were part of the British Empire during Christie’s era: Canada, Hawaii, South Africa, New Zealand, and Australia. Agatha Christie’s “Grand Tour” in 1922 was a pivotal moment in her life. She embarked on this adventure with her first husband, Archie, as they promoted the upcoming British Empire Exhibition in London. Christie, already a lover of travel with experiences in France and Paris, found this voyage especially memorable as it took her to various territories within the British Empire.
