Well, the saga of the Browns continues, and, as usual, it’s a mixed bag of emotions. This week’s “Sister Wives” finds Christine gearing up for her wedding while Meri reflects on her rather complicated past with Kody.
Meri, in a move that could be interpreted as symbolic or just plain cathartic, takes scissors to a quilt that represented her marriage to Kody. Meanwhile, over in Moab, Christine and David are knee-deep in wedding prep. One can only assume the guest list is more streamlined these days.
Plus, Robyn and Kody are tackling the ever-thorny issue of their fragmented family. If past seasons are anything to go by, this conversation will likely involve a lot of hand-wringing and maybe a few tears, but ultimately, little resolution. Let’s be real, this family is a masterclass in avoiding actual communication.
This episode appears to focus on the varying ways people deal with the end of relationships. Some cut up quilts, others plan weddings, and some just keep having the same circular conversations over and over again. Ah, the Browns. Never a dull moment.
