Hallmark dips its toe into the world of corporate intrigue with Sisterhood, Inc. Daniella Monet plays Megan, a high-powered executive who, apparently, also moonlights as a life coach for her less-than-together sister. Instead of just offering the usual sisterly advice, Megan decides to take a more… structured approach. She creates a “board of directors” to help guide her sister’s life choices.
Enter Leonidas Gulaptis as the obligatory love interest, a psychology professor (naturally) who somehow gets roped into this sisterly intervention. He’s there to provide professional insight, I guess, but more importantly, to uncover Megan’s hidden vulnerabilities beneath her tough-as-nails exterior. Expect soulful conversations, knowing glances, and the slow dismantling of Megan’s carefully constructed emotional walls.
Rachael Leigh Cook heads the cast, as the sister in need of life-direction. While the premise sounds slightly absurd, that’s par for the course with Hallmark. The real question is whether the movie can deliver on the romance while keeping the sisterhood storyline from veering into full-blown sitcom territory. Will there be forced board meetings with awkward PowerPoint presentations? Hopefully not. But I’m also not ruling it out.
Sisterhood, Inc. airs on Hallmark at 8:00 PM on Saturday, February 22, 2025.
