Sky has released the trailer for their upcoming original film, Marlowe, which stars Liam Neeson (Schindler’s List, Taken), Diane Kruger (Inglorious Basterds), and Academy Award® winner Jessica Lange (King Kong, Feud), along with Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (His Dark Materials), Danny Huston (American Horror Story), Alan Cumming (GoldenEye), and Colm Mean (Gangs of London).
Director Neil Jordan (The Crying Game, The Company of Wolves) and writer William Monahan (The Departed) adapt John Banville’s novel The Black-Eyed Blonde for Marlowe. On March 17, in addition to its theatrical and Sky Cinema releases, the Sky Original film will be made available on the NOW streaming service.
Neeson stars as private investigator Phillip Marlowe, who is tasked with tracking down the ex-lover of a glamorous heiress (Kruger) in this neo-noir criminal thriller set in the swanky late 1930s. Despite the seeming simplicity of the case, Marlowe is soon dragged into the crossfire between a great Hollywood actress (Lange) and her subversive, ambitious daughter (Kruger).
