Oxygen’s Snapped: Behind Bars returns for a second season starting Sunday, September 1, 2024, at 7 p.m. ET/PT. The true-crime series revisits cases from its sister show, Snapped, featuring exclusive interviews with convicted women, offering new insights and expert analyses of the psychology behind the murders.
This season, several women convicted of murder speak out, sharing their thoughts and emotions about the crimes that changed their lives. Fueled by remorse, protestations of innocence, and a desire to control their narratives, they offer never-before-heard revelations.
The first episode profiles Pandora Zan, who expresses remorse for the murder of her husband. Her son, Cody Henderson, also speaks out for the first time, discussing his role in the crime and its impact on their relationship.
Other cases include Crystal Mangum, who shares her account of the events leading to her then-boyfriend’s death; Tausha Morton, who clarifies the circumstances surrounding her ex-husband’s death; and Lucille Duncan, who breaks her silence after 20 years in prison, maintaining her innocence in the shooting of her ex-boyfriend.
The season also features Tabitha Messina, serving a life sentence for the murders of her father and his girlfriend, and Cristina Rodriguez, who recounts the beating death of her boyfriend at the hands of her then-lover.
Snapped: Behind Bars is produced by Jupiter Entertainment, with executive producers Maggie Sharbel, David O’Donnell, and Patrick Reardon.
