Tausha Morton, charged with the 2004 shooting death of Mitch Kemp, sits down for an interview to provide her account of the events leading to her ex-husband’s demise. She refutes the existence of a murder conspiracy and shares her experience of being incarcerated for life.
Morton, married to both Greg Morton and Keith Jones simultaneously, found herself in a difficult situation. Prosecutors alleged that she convinced Greg Morton to kill Mitch Kemp, her estranged husband, after accusing him of rape. The case took a further twist when Greg Morton admitted to shooting Kemp but also implicated Tausha Morton, who had already pleaded guilty and been sentenced to life without parole.
In a surprising development, Morton later led investigators to the remains of Mitch Kemp, buried on a Boone County farm.
