Snapped: Debra Taylor (Oxygen True Crime, Sunday, August 25, 2024)

Snapped

When an Arkansas family man is shot and killed in his own home, his widow is quick to point the finger of blame at others in the town. However, as detectives begin to investigate the suspects, a web of secrets and deceit begins to unravel, revealing a manipulative individual hiding behind a facade of innocence.

In this episode of Snapped, we explore the case of Debra Lynn Taylor, who was charged as an accomplice to the premeditated murder of her husband, Roy Taylor. Henry Price, also implicated in the crime, pleaded guilty and received a 40-year sentence. At Taylor’s trial, Price provided testimony detailing their respective roles in the tragic events. Taylor was ultimately convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment.

Taylor appealed her conviction, arguing that her discussions with Price about murdering her husband were merely fantasies, and that she never intended for any harm to come to him. However, the court found her statements and other physical evidence presented during the trial to be indicative of her involvement in the murder.
