In the latest episode of Snapped: Killer Couples, airing on Sunday, April 7 at 6:00 PM on Oxygen, viewers will delve into a chilling murder case involving Patricia Sexton and Michael Fielding.

Patricia Sexton was convicted of the murder of her husband, Bobby Sexton, and sentenced to life in prison in 1999. She was also convicted of engaging in organised criminal activity and sentenced to 30 years in prison. However, her conviction for engaging in organised criminal activity was later overturned, and she was acquitted of the murder charge.

Michael Fielding, Patricia’s lover and Bobby’s confessed killer, pleaded guilty to the murder and was sentenced to 30 years in prison.

Dorothy Bingham, Patricia’s grandmother, was also convicted of the murder and sentenced to 30 years in prison. However, her conviction was later overturned, and she was released after serving four years.

Patricia’s mother, Linda Gail Bingham, was present when Patricia and Fielding discussed planting drugs on Bobby to get him arrested and set up. She also testified that Patricia told her that “the only way she would ever be rid of [Bobby] was for him to be dead”.

Patricia’s grandfather, James ‘Buddy’ Bingham, was present when Patricia and Fielding discussed getting guns that could not be traced by ballistics.

Al Clark, Linda’s boyfriend, was asked by Patricia and Dorothy to set up a drug deal where Bobby would be killed. He initially agreed but later changed his mind.

Willie Wright, an accomplice of Fielding’s, was charged with tampering with evidence and sentenced to 35 years in prison.
