Oxygen’s Snapped examines the case of Viktoriya Nasyrova, a Russian woman living in New York City, whose pursuit of her dreams takes a dark turn.
In 2016, Nasyrova was found guilty of attempting to murder her beautician, Olga Tsvyk, by drugging her with a sedative-laced cheesecake. This incident exposed a pattern of criminal activity that included identity theft, as Nasyrova stole Tsvyk’s identity documents, passport, and work permit. For these crimes, she was sentenced to 21 years in prison.
However, Nasyrova’s troubles with the law didn’t end there. Authorities discovered that she was wanted by Interpol for the murder of a woman in Russia in 2014. The case involved the killing of her neighbor, Alla Alekseenko, and the theft of her life savings.
