So You Think You Can Dance returns with its eighteenth season, showcasing intense dance challenges as contestants vie for the top spots. In this episode, “Challenge #3: Movies,” airing on Monday April 29, the competition heats up as the remaining dancers take on movie-themed challenges.
The top six dancers will be split into two groups, each tackling routines choreographed by Jamal Sims and Christopher Scott. These renowned choreographers will push the dancers to their limits as they perform duets, solos, and group numbers. The dancers’ versatility and adaptability will be tested as they take on various dance styles, including contemporary, hip-hop, jazz, and more.
The pressure is on as the bottom performers will have to dance for their lives, with eliminations becoming more frequent as the season progresses. Each week, the dancers are paired into male-female couples, occasionally collaborating with “All Stars” from previous seasons. These partnerships add an exciting dynamic to the competition, and the couples will work tirelessly to master their routines.
