FOX’s “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test” returns for a five-week third season, dropping a fresh batch of celebrities into the unforgiving terrain of Wales. This season, the focus shifts to ocean warfare, pushing the recruits to their absolute limits. In this week’s episode, “Panic / Trust,” airing Wednesday, January 22nd at 8:00 PM, the recruits must contend with brutal training exercises designed to simulate the disorientation and high-pressure situations of combat at sea.
This season’s celebrity recruits include Olympic gold medalist Nathan Adrian, actor Stephen Baldwin, pro surfer Alana Blanchard, soccer star Landon Donovan, motocross competitor Carey Hart, reality TV personality Brody Jenner, track and field athlete Marion Jones, podcast host Ali Manno, social media influencer Kayla Nicole, NFL quarterback Cam Newton, actress Kyla Pratt, actress Denise Richards, actress Christy Carlson Romano, reality TV star Trista Sutter, NFL wide receiver Golden Tate, and Olympic gymnast Jordyn Wieber.
Their backgrounds may be diverse, but they’ll all face the same unforgiving standards of the Special Forces selection process. Expect intense physical and psychological challenges, including a particularly harrowing helicopter insertion into frigid waters. As if near-drowning weren’t enough, some recruits find themselves facing the ultimate humiliation – being buried alive in coffins as punishment for breaking the rules.
“Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test” airs Wednesdays at 8:00 PM on FOX.
