Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test Season 3 Recruits Tackle Brutal Training in Wales

Special Forces: World's Toughest Test Key Art

Watching celebrities flail outside their comfort zones is a reliable source of entertainment. FOX knows this, and they’re back with a fresh batch of famous faces ready to be humbled in the wilds of Wales for Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test. Season 3 kicks off with a two-hour premiere on Wednesday, January 8, 2024, and continues weekly with supersized episodes.

This time, sixteen recruits – a mix of athletes, actors, influencers, and reality TV veterans – will face the Directing Staff (DS) and the notoriously difficult challenges of British Special Forces Selection. Forget the red carpet; these folks are dealing with hostage rescues, perilous cliff crossings, and enough frigid water submersion to make a polar bear shiver. There are no cushy eliminations here. Celebrities either quit, fail a task, get injured, or are deemed unfit to continue by the DS. It’s less “who gets voted off the island” and more “who’s getting a stretcher.”

This season’s DS includes familiar faces: Rudy Reyes, Mark “Billy” Billingham, Jason “Foxy” Fox, and Jovon “Q” Quarles. They’re not here to hand out participation trophies. The training is designed to push these individuals to their absolute limits, revealing what they’re really made of when the going gets tough.

So, who are these brave souls signing up for simulated torture? The lineup includes Olympic gold medalists Nathan Adrian (swimming) and Jordyn Wieber (gymnastics), providing some serious athletic prowess. Former NFL quarterback Cam Newton and Super Bowl champ Golden Tate bring the football muscle. Then there’s the reality TV contingent, with Brody Jenner, Ali Manno (formerly Fedotowsky, of Bachelorette fame), and original Bachelorette Trista Sutter. Stephen Baldwin and Denise Richards represent the Hollywood set. Rounding out the group are pro surfer/model Alana Blanchard, motocross star Carey Hart, influencer/model Kayla Nicole, actress Kyla Pratt, actress/podcast host Christy Carlson Romano, and soccer star Landon Donovan. Plus, Marion Jones. Yes, that Marion Jones.

Will any of these celebrities have what it takes to complete the grueling course? Will they crack under the pressure or surprise everyone with their hidden grit? Tune in to FOX on Wednesday, January 8, 2024, at 8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT to witness the struggles, the triumphs (if any), and the inevitable breakdowns.
