Food Network’s “Spring Baking Championship” returns this Monday with a challenge that blends culinary skill and artistic flair. In “The Magic of Spring Foraging,” host Jesse Palmer presents the seven remaining bakers with a task that’s as visually appealing as it is technically demanding. First up: roll cakes, infused with zesty citrus and earthy forest accents. But there’s a twist. The bakers must use the imprime design method, baking intricate patterns directly into the cake itself.
The second challenge takes the bakers into the garden. Their task: to construct a tiered macaron cake featuring a garden vegetable. Judges Duff Goldman, Kardea Brown, and Nancy Fuller will be on hand to assess these edible works of art, looking for both technical mastery and creative ingenuity.
With a grand prize on the line, the competition is heating up. Which baker will rise to the occasion, and who will crumble under the pressure? Find out on Monday, April 21st at 8:00 PM ET/PT on Food Network.
