Food Network’s “Spring Baking Championship” returns with a new season on Monday, March 10 at 8pm ET/PT, transforming the set into “The Little Shop of Spring Magic.” Host Jesse Palmer presides over this whimsical space where a baker’s dozen of contestants prepare to make enchanting, edible creations.
This season, thirteen bakers will compete for the title, a $25,000 prize, and a feature in Food Network Magazine. Judges Duff Goldman, Nancy Fuller, and Kardea Brown will determine which baker best incorporates the season’s magic theme into their desserts.
The two-hour premiere features bakers crafting flower-themed desserts and unique honey pies with a magical twist. Challenges throughout the season include “squared off” fruit entremets inspired by A Minecraft Movie, butterfly-shaped napoleons, glow-in-the-dark ice-cream cake bombs, and cakes inspired by Marie Antoinette’s hairdo.
The theme of this season encourages bakers to make the impossible possible using baking skills and imagination.
The show will be available on the Max streaming service, in addition to airing on Food Network. Fans can engage on social media using #SpringBakingChampionship. Sonic Dog produces “Spring Baking Championship” for Food Network.
