Things are getting flowery – and potentially buggy – on Food Network’s “Spring Baking Championship.” This Monday, the six remaining bakers face a double challenge that will test their teamwork and creativity. Host Jesse Palmer presents the first hurdle: butterfly napoleons. Working in teams, the bakers must not only construct these delicate pastries but ensure they capture the vibrant colors of their assigned butterfly species. Think iridescent wings and intricate details, all in edible form.
For their second challenge, the competitors turn their attention to the garden, creating cakes that embody the tranquility and beauty of a natural landscape. Judges Duff Goldman, Kardea Brown, and Nancy Fuller will be looking for cakes that are both visually stunning and packed with delicious spring flavors.
With $50,000 on the line, the pressure is on. Which team will emerge with the most impressive butterfly napoleons? Whose garden cake will truly blossom? Find out Monday, April 28th at 8:00 PM ET on Food Network.
