Stacey & Joe: Like Jesus in the Kitchen (BBC One, Tuesday, 22 April, 2025)

Stacey & Joe Key Art

Life with Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash is never dull, and the latest episode of “Stacey & Joe” on BBC One goes from massive manure deliveries for Stacey’s vegetable patch to Joe attempting to feed his whole family after he forgot he invited them for Sunday roast, chaos reigns supreme in their blended family.

This week, Joe takes a nostalgic – and possibly anxiety-inducing – trip back to Albert Square, the setting of his “EastEnders” days, for the first time in nearly two decades. Meanwhile, back at Pickle Cottage, Stacey finds herself knee-deep in, well, manure. She needs to get her vegetable patch started and she isn’t afraid of getting her hands dirty. It’s all part of the charm of this down-to-earth series.

Amid the mayhem, Stacey and Joe manage to sneak away for a date night at a pottery school, where things get a little muddy – but romantic nonetheless. “Stacey & Joe” offers a refreshingly honest look at the everyday joys and struggles of family life. With five children aged between one and sixteen, plus various pets, their days are filled with activity, with the ongoing project of building a two-acre fishing lake adding even more complication to their already busy lives. Catch the latest episode this Tuesday at 8:00 PM GMT on BBC One.
