Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Australian Premiere Friday 6 May on Paramount+
From Friday, May 6th, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds will be available exclusively on Paramount+. Every Friday after the launch, new episodes will be accessible to stream.
The series will star Anson Mount as Captain Christopher Pike, Rebecca Romijn as Number One, and Ethan Peck as Science Officer Spock, and will be based on Captain Christopher Pike’s time at the helm of the USS Enterprise. Captain Pike, Science Officer Spock, and Number One will explore new worlds around the galaxy in the years before Captain Kirk boarded the U.S.S. Enterprise.
Akiva Goldsman wrote the series premiere, and the tale was written by Akiva Goldsman, Alex Kurtzman, and Jenny Lumet. Co-showrunners are Goldsman and Henry Alonso Myers, with Goldsman directing the first episode. Along with Alonso Myers, Heather Kadin, Frank Siracusa, John Weber, Rod Roddenberry, Trevor Roth, and Aaron Baiers, Goldsman, Kurtzman, and Lumet serve as executive producers. CBS Studios, Secret Hideout, and Roddenberry Entertainment are the producers of the show.
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds joins a host of the world’s best entertainment currently streaming on Paramount+, including The Gilded Age, Dexter: New Blood, The Envoys, Yellowjackets, Five Bedrooms, 1883 and Ray Donovan: The Movie, with Super Pumped: The Battle For Uber, The Offer and The First Lady streaming soon.
