STARZ has dropped a trailer and first-look photos for the conclusion of “Power Book II: Ghost,” with part two premiering on Friday, September 6. The final season of the “Power” universe franchise intensifies the stakes and explores the theme of “like father, like son,” as Tariq (Michael Rainey Jr.) finds himself in a situation reminiscent of his late father, Ghost.
The Tejadas find themselves in danger as Detective Carter closes in, while Monet (Mary J. Blige) fights to restore her family. Noma (LightSkinKeisha) works her way up the food chain, and her daughter, Anya, gets too close to the game, forcing Noma to reconsider her actions.
The cast of season four includes Cliff “Method Man” Smith, Gianni Paolo, Woody McClain, Lovell Adams-Gray, LaToya Tonodeo, Alix Lapri, Larenz Tate, Caroline Chikezie, and Michael Ealy as Detective Don Carter.
“Power Book II: Ghost” is the first series in the expanded “Power” Universe franchise. Brett Mahoney (“Empire,” “The Following”) serves as showrunner and executive producer for season four. The “Power” Universe series is executive produced by the creator and showrunner of the original “Power,” Courtney A. Kemp through her production company End of Episode, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson through G-Unit Film and Television, and Mark Canton through Canton Entertainment. Lionsgate Television produces the series for STARZ.
