Stephen Colbert: David Schwimmer, Josh Gad, Betty Gilpin (CBS, Week of January 13, 2025)

The Late Show With Stephen Colbert Key Art

The Late Show is gearing up for another week of eclectic interviews and potential awkward small talk? David Schwimmer, escaping the shadow of Friends (again), arrives Monday to discuss his role in the new Goosebumps series, The Vanishing. Sharing the stage is writer Kwame Alexander, promoting his book How Sweet the Sound, a history of Black music in America. Perhaps we’ll finally learn if Miles Davis ever actually smiled.

Tuesday brings Josh Gad, the voice of Olaf and purveyor of dad jokes, to hawk his new essay collection, In Gad We Trust. Following Gad is Betty Gilpin, discussing her role in the Western series American Primeval.

Wednesday promises a bit of seriousness with Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen. Preceding Yellen is Adam Scott, back to talk about the second season of Severence. Can he shed light on those mysterious goats?

Finally, Thursday delivers a double dose of acting talent. Julia Garner will discuss the new Wolf Man movie. Then, Jharrel Jerome, another rising star, chats about his role in the action movie Unstoppable with Jennifer Lopez.
