‘Storage Wars’ Reloads for Season 16 June 7 With Bigger Episodes, Bolder Bets on A&E

Storage Wars

A&E is doubling down on one of its longest-running unscripted hits, bringing Storage Wars back for a 10-episode run starting Saturday, June 7 at 9 PM ET/PT.

The new season—its 16th—comes with a few format tweaks, most notably expanded one-hour episodes aimed at delivering more on-site drama and deeper dives into the high-risk, high-reward bidding that’s defined the franchise since 2010.

Original Productions, a Fremantle company, continues to steer the series, with Jeff Hasler, Brian Lovett, Jeff Bumgarner, and Roman Mykytyn back as executive producers. Franklin Cumberbatch and Sean Gottlieb exec produce for A&E. A+E Global Media retains worldwide distribution rights, with the franchise already reaching 220 territories across platforms.

Familiar faces return to the auction block, including Brandi Passante, Dave Hester, Kenny Crossley, Ivy Calvin and sons, Rene and Casey Nezhoda, Lisa Delarios, and Dusty Riach. Dan and Laura Dotson resume their roles as auctioneers, keeping the bidding tight and the energy high as lockers are cracked open in search of buried value—or costly duds.

The format remains simple: bidders have minutes to scan the contents of a storage unit before wagering real money on what they think could be inside. The stakes have always been real, but with longer episodes and more story real estate, Season 16 pushes the tension higher.

Storage Wars remains a steady performer in A&E’s legacy reality roster, appealing to viewers looking for unscripted drama without a studio polish. For the network, it’s a cost-efficient workhorse that continues to deliver across linear and digital windows—a rare feat in the current unscripted landscape.
