The bidders on Storage Wars are facing less-than-ideal conditions in Banning this week, as a cold, wet day threatens to dampen both their spirits and their potential profits. In “Weathering Sights,” the auction pros must decide if it’s worth braving the elements for a shot at a hidden score.
Laura, ever the optimist, tries to improve the gloomy atmosphere by offering her fellow buyers “hot” cocoa and umbrellas, a small gesture of goodwill in a highly competitive environment. Her efforts may not be enough to warm up the action, as the damp weather could mean damaged goods inside the units.
Brandi, however, sees an opportunity in the miserable conditions. She changes her usual strategy, hoping the weather will deter her rivals and give her a better chance at landing a valuable locker. Her gamble is a calculated one, betting that a little discomfort might lead to a bigger payday. Meanwhile, Kenny focuses his attention on a single item, risking his money on the unknown contents of a file cabinet. It’s a high-risk, high-reward play that could either make his day or send him home empty-handed.
Storage Wars airs Saturday, June 21 at 9:00 PM ET on A&E.
