Farmtruck and AZN are back, bringing their particular brand of small-tire racing mayhem to New England Dragway on Tuesday night. This week’s “Street Outlaws: Locals Only” finds eight local racers vying for a $5,000 prize and, perhaps more importantly, a shot at taking down Disco Dean. Dean, known for his serious demeanor and even more serious racing skills, presents a formidable challenge to any driver, let alone those competing on their home turf.
The episode, titled “Race Free or Die,” follows a bracket-style, single-elimination format. For the locals, it’s a chance to prove they have what it takes to compete against a national “Street Outlaws” figure. Farmtruck and AZN are known for highlighting talented grassroots racers in the “Street Outlaws” shows, and this episode looks to continue that trend.
