Strictly Come Dancing is gearing up for its 20th anniversary with a launch trailer set to air on BBC One. The trailer, which will be broadcast across the UK on September 4th at 7:29 pm, offers a glimpse into the upcoming season, encouraging viewers to get ready for a sparkling celebration.
The trailer features a vibrant performance by the show’s professional dancers, choreographed by Jason Gilkison. The routine includes a medley of popular songs, such as “We Like To Party!” by Vengaboys, “Baby Baby” by Corona, and “Get Up (Before The Night Is Over)” by Technotronic, among others.
The launch show will also feature a special dance to welcome Amy Dowden MBE back to the Strictly ballroom and will reveal the celebrity contestants and their professional dance partners. Audiences can expect a group routine showcasing the talent of the 2024 Strictly class.
Strictly Come Dancing, produced by BBC Studios, will return to BBC One and BBC iPlayer this autumn, marking two decades of dance.
