Strictly Come Dancing returns for its 22nd series, celebrating 20 years in the ballroom. The launch show introduces 15 new celebrities to the dance floor, each paired with a professional dancer. Presenters Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman are joined by judges Shirley Ballas, Anton Du Beke, Craig Revel Horwood, and Motsi Mabuse, as they welcome the new contestants and preview the upcoming competition.
The professional dancers kick off the launch show with an impressive opening routine, and the episode also features a special performance by current Strictly champions, Ellie and Vito. It’s a celebration not to be missed, as the show also marks the return of professional dancer Amy Dowden MBE, who delivers a show-stopping quickstep performance.
Adding to the excitement, Clean Bandit, featuring Anne-Marie, takes to the ballroom floor to perform their new hit song, “Cry Baby.”
