Strife is a comedic drama that follows the journey of Evelyn Jones, a modern woman and publisher. It chronicles her rise from a lounge room blogger to a prominent figure in women’s media.
In season two, Evelyn faces challenges on multiple fronts, including the emergence of a rival women’s website and a nasty troll calling out her privilege. Meanwhile, as her company expands, Evelyn must also secure an investor to maintain her business’s stability.
The series is produced by the award-winning production company Made Up Stories, known for their work on acclaimed series such as Big Little Lies and Nine Perfect Strangers. It is inspired by Mia Freedman’s memoir Work, Strife, Balance and written by Australian screenwriter Sarah Scheller.
Neil Sharma directs all eight episodes of the new season, and the executive production team includes Bruna Papandrea, Steve Hutensky, and Katie Amos.
You can catch up on the first season of Strife, now available for streaming on Binge and Foxtel.
