The chaotic, and often cringingly real, family of Such Brave Girls is back on BBC Three this Thursday, July 3, with a double bill to kick off Season 2. The new run begins with Such Kept Girls at 10:05 PM, immediately followed by Such Faithful Girls at 10:30 PM. Creator Kat Sadler returns, and the comedy of discomfort is very much intact.
In Such Kept Girls, Josie is trying to balance her new art school romance with family duties—and her established relationship with Seb. Meanwhile, a secret revealed by her sister rattles Deb’s hope for career advancement with Dev.
Then, in Such Faithful Girls, Deb entertains an old flame and his bulging cryptocurrency wallet, forcing her to question her relationship with Dev. Across town, Billie starts exploring her “daddy issues,” realizing she might not get the princess treatment she expects. Billie also finds herself in a potentially risky romance with an older man who seems fixated on talking about his wife, and Seb starts to suspect Josie might not be telling the truth about her late-night book club. It’s a busy night for all involved.
