Community spirit is put to the test on this week’s Sullivan’s Crossing, while one of the town’s central relationships continues to fray. In “Bad Timing,” airing Wednesday at 8:00 PM ET on The CW, the residents of the Crossing rally together to help Rob save his new restaurant from going under before it even has a chance to succeed.
The episode, written by John Callaghan and directed by Martin Wood, places a strong emphasis on the theme of community support. As Rob faces a series of setbacks that threaten his fledgling business, his friends and neighbors step up to offer their help. The storyline serves as a reminder of the show’s core premise: that in a small town, no one has to face their struggles alone.
While the community comes together, however, Maggie and Cal are drifting further apart.
As the sixth episode of the third season, “Bad Timing” appears to be moving several key plot points forward. The fate of Rob’s restaurant and the future of Maggie and Cal’s relationship hang in the balance.
Sullivan’s Crossing airs Wednesdays at 8:00 PM ET on The CW.
