Sullivan’s Crossing “Reunions”

Sullivan's Crossing Key Art

Sullivan’s Crossing returns with “Reunions,” and if the title alone doesn’t scream potential for awkward encounters and dredged-up history, the episode synopsis certainly does. Let’s just say Sully’s past isn’t staying buried, and it’s not just dusty photo albums this time – his financial woes are back to haunt him. Looks like his present isn’t much of a picnic either.

Frank and Edna’s feud continues, proving some grudges are tougher than a week-old bagel. Frank’s persistent refusal to mend fences with his cousin is the kind of stubbornness that could curdle milk. One starts to wonder if these two will ever share a pleasant cup of coffee again, let alone a civil conversation.

Maggie is trying her hand at playing peacemaker, organizing a family fishing trip. Herding Phoebe, Sully, and Andrew into a boat for some quality bonding time? It’s a noble effort, but I’m envisioning more tangled lines and interpersonal snags than actual catches.

Meanwhile, Cal’s playing host to a mysterious woman at his cabin, which is either the start of a charming romance or a plot twist waiting to happen. And speaking of complicated relationships, Rob and Connie continue to stumble through their respective romantic entanglements. Will they find their footing, or is more emotional turbulence on the horizon?
