Sun, Sea and Selling Houses: Season 8 Premiere (Channel 4, Monday, June 23, 2025)

An image of a beautiful sunset over the ocean

Another year, another wave of Britons are trading grey skies for the promise of Spanish sunshine and, more importantly, a new home. Sun, Sea and Selling Houses begins its eighth season on Monday, June 23, at 6:00 PM on Channel 4, rejoining the property agents helping hopeful expats make their Iberian dreams a reality.

The premiere episode sends us to Alicante, where agents Charlotte and Damon take on the challenge of finding a family holiday spot for Sonia and Chris. Their budget: a tight £95,000. It’s a classic property hunt setup, requiring a good deal of resourcefulness to match expectations with price tags in a market seeing steadily rising values.

Meanwhile, over in Murcia, Natalie and Darren are on duty with John and Diane, a Scottish couple looking for their own slice of sun with a more generous £300,000 to spend. Diane, it seems, is not one to hold back her opinions, warning Natalie upfront that she can be a demanding client. This sets the stage for what could be a particularly direct search for the perfect pad.

Beyond the house hunting, the series keeps up its pleasant side stories. The Browns, ever entrepreneurial, get creative by making a vlog about Cartagena for their website. And in a segment that adds a touch of local flavor, Charlotte and Sophie Rodriguez learn how to make traditional Spanish turron at a nearby factory. Expect the usual blend of sun-drenched scenery and the inevitable highs and lows that come with trying to buy property abroad.

Sun, Sea and Selling Houses returns Monday, June 23, at 6:00 PM on Channel 4.
