Food Network’s Super Mega Cakes is set for a deep-sea showdown this Monday, July 7, at 9 PM ET. The latest episode, titled “Ocean Predators,” challenges Duff Goldman’s team to face off against cake artists Henderson Gonzalez, Jujhar Mann, and Timmy Norman in a battle for edible supremacy. The mission? Construct awe-inspiring ocean predator cakes, each featuring a difficult floating element.
This competition pushes the limits of cake design, requiring the teams to blend artistic vision with engineering precision. The floating element alone ensures that this is no ordinary bake-off. Judges Amaury Guichon, Sherry Yard, and special guest Paul de Gelder will scrutinize every detail, deciding which creation is worthy of moving forward for a chance at the $50,000 prize.
Duff Goldman himself has labeled this stretch of the competition the “longest week” of his life, a hint at the intensity and pressure felt in the kitchen. There will be cakes that are not only majestic in scale but also astonishingly lifelike, complete with intricate details and interactive elements that blur the line between art and dessert.
“Super Mega Cakes: Ocean Predators” airs Monday, July 7, 2025, at 9:00 PM ET on Food Network.
