Surf Girls: International is back on Prime Video next month, with five new episodes dropping globally on Wednesday, July 17, 2025.

Season 2 picks up with five rising surfers as they fight for ground in the Challenger Series. Each comes from a different corner of the globe. Each has something to prove.

Hawaii’s Ewe Wong, who built a fanbase off the back of Season 1, returns for a second run. She’s joined by Brazil’s Sophia Medina, already a force in Latin American surf circles. Portugal’s Kika Veselko, South Africa’s Jessie Van Niekerk, and Peruvian Olympian Sol Aguirre round out the lineup.

The series follows their push for rankings, recognition, and sponsorship, but keeps a steady focus on the strain behind the scenes. Injuries. Family pressure. Burnout. Visibility cuts both ways, and the show doesn’t shy from the fallout.

Produced by Hello Sunshine and TOGETHXR, the series continues its mission to profile women pushing through a sport still built for men. Reese Witherspoon, Sara Rea, and Sue Kinkead executive produce for Hello Sunshine.

This is Prime Video’s second run with the format, and the platform is treating it as a key piece of its global sports-adjacent slate.

Surf Girls: International returns Wednesday, July 17 on Prime Video.
