She then explores the colourful beach huts by the seafront and learns about a couple’s unique wedding in one of them. The Pleasure Park, with its thrilling rides, catches her attention, but she opts for a spin around the amusements, trying her luck at Nessa’s slots, a fun tribute to the Gavin & Stacey character.

On Barry Beach, Susan is joined by Strictly star Amy Dowden, who shares her fond memories of summers spent on this beautiful bay. The two engage in a friendly but competitive game of beach skittles.
