Swamp People: Serpent Invasion, April 18, 2024, History Channel, “Backyard Blitz”
The popular reality TV show Swamp People: Serpent Invasion returns with a new episode, “Backyard Blitz,” airing on the History Channel on Thursday April 18. This installment focuses on the team’s individual pursuits as they continue their mission to combat the Burmese python invasion in the Florida Everglades.
In this episode, Zak and Aaron join forces to tackle an invasion in Zak’s neighborhood, while Tes embarks on a solo mission in the depths of buggy country. Ashley and Kaylyn, on the other hand, find themselves near a camp with a haunting past, and Dusty pursues an old nemesis.
The show centers on a group of legendary hunters who dedicate themselves to capturing Burmese pythons that are wreaking havoc on the Florida Everglades. These aggressive and ravenous snakes breed rapidly and threaten entire species in this natural wonderland. With no natural predators to stop them, the hunters step up to the challenge, determined to protect the fragile ecosystem.
The Florida Everglades, a unique and biodiverse wetland, has been under siege by these invasive pythons, leading to the creation of the Python Elimination Program. The hunters featured in the show, including “King of the Swamp” Troy Landry, his son Chase, veteran hunter Bruce Mitchell, and Zak Catchem, bring their expertise to the forefront as they dive deep into the underbelly of the Everglades to capture these dangerous serpents.
Swamp People: Serpent Invasion – Backyard Blitz airs on the History Channel at 9:35 PM on Thursday, April 18, 2024.
