Swamp People Serpent Invasion

In this episode of “Swamp People: Serpent Invasion,” Troy and Tes depart from their usual hunting grounds in search of new opportunities. Meanwhile, Ashley and Kaylyn take an unconventional route by following an old surveyor’s trail, hoping to find success off the beaten path. The episode also sees Zak and Aaron taking a risky bet on Bad Luck Prairie, while Dusty Crum, a seasoned hunter, resurrects an old boat to reach distant honey holes.

The Florida Everglades are under siege by an invasion of Burmese pythons, threatening the delicate ecosystem and wiping out entire species. With no natural predators to stop them, these aggressive and ravenous snakes breed rapidly, leaving the native wildlife vulnerable. To combat this crisis, Florida initiated the Python Elimination Program, enlisting the expertise of legendary hunters like Troy Landry, also known as the “‘King of the Swamp,'” and his sharpshooting son, Chase. They are joined by veteran snake hunter Bill Booth and Florida native Tess “Tes” Lee, who has extensive experience hunting pythons with her husband.

In previous episodes, the team faced challenges as they ventured into the foreboding Everglades Triangle and discovered the true scale of the invasion. With their backs against the wall, they had to employ innovative strategies, including the use of trackers and thermal drones, to gain an advantage over the snakes. The stakes are high as the hunters not only aim to protect the Everglades but also to prevent the further decimation of species native to the region.
