Netflix is bringing back the charm of Serenity, South Carolina, with a fifth season renewal of “Sweet Magnolias.” Fans can look forward to 10 more episodes following the lives and friendships of Maddie, Dana Sue, and Helen.
The heartwarming drama, starring JoAnna Garcia Swisher, Brooke Elliott, and Heather Headley as the central trio, explores relationships, family, and careers in a close-knit Southern town. The series, adapted from Sherryl Woods’ novels, will continue to chronicle the women’s intertwined journeys as they support each other through life’s ups and downs.
“Sweet Magnolias” also features Logan Allen, Anneliese Judge, Carson Rowland, Justin Bruening, Jamie Lynn Spears, Dion Johnstone, Brandon Quinn, and Chris Medlin. Sheryl J. Anderson serves as developer, showrunner, and executive producer, alongside Dan Paulson and Matt Drake. Norman Buckley is a co-executive producer. The show is produced by Daniel L. Paulson Productions in association with Netflix.
