“SWV & XSCAPE: The Queens of R&B” New Limited Series for Bravo

Premiering on Sunday, March 5 at 9:30PM ET/PT on Bravo is “SWV & XSCAPE: The Queens of R&B,” a limited series that features performances by two of the best-selling girl groups of all time.

Three sisters, Cheryl “Coko” Gamble, Tamara “Taj” George, and Leanne “Lelee” Lyons, make up the R&B supergroup SWV (Sisters With Voices), who have sold over 30 million records worldwide and been nominated for three Grammys. The R&B group XSCAPE is incredibly popular, having sold over 9 million albums worldwide and having six singles reach the top 10 on the Billboard 100. The group’s members are Kandi Burruss, Tameka “Tiny” Harris, the Scott-Bivens sisters, and Tamika Scott.

Fans will get a front-row seat and an inside look at the personal and professional lives of SWV and XSCAPE in this six-part limited series as they get ready to take the stage together and relive the ’90s.

For almost 30 years, SWV and XSCAPE have had smash records, sold-out concerts, worldwide tours, and dramatic splits. The friendly rivalry between the New York new jack swinging trio and the Atlanta hip-hop soul quartet has always been there.

These seven talented singers have to balance personal and professional responsibilities as they prepare for a once-in-a-lifetime concert performance alongside their fiercest rivals.

With the bombshell revelation of the Scott sisters’ dark secret, which threatens to tear their family apart and drive a wedge between XSCAPE, the ladies will take viewers on the ultimate fan experience as they reveal the inner workings of putting on a live concert and expose the discord and complex dynamics of sisterhood within singing groups.

These women are not afraid to speak their minds, whether it be in heated debates about stage layout and song selection or massive conflicts over who should be the show’s headlining act.

The ups and downs of their endeavor to produce a career-reviving concert will be chronicled in each episode. But is it possible for these independent musicians to settle their differences?
