The first episode of the three-part series Tagged Britain’s Most Tagged focuses on Dylan, an 18-year-old from Redcar who is currently on his third tag while awaiting trial for car theft and dangerous driving. With a history of multiple offences, mostly linked to car crime, Dylan has been in and out of prison four times.
Despite his young age, he claims to be arrested on a weekly basis. Dylan aspires to channel his interest in cars into a career as a mechanic, but his resolve is tested when he spots a motorbike in a car park.
The episode also features Nino, a 22-year-old friend of Dylan’s from the same street. Nino, who has a partner and two children, faces the challenge of providing for his family while trying to stay out of trouble. With multiple breaches of his order, Nino is anxious about his prospects of staying out of jail before the trial.
Additionally, the episode catches up with Christian from Nottingham, who viewers may remember from the previous series, Tagged: Fresh Out of Jail. Christian is now on his ninth tag and has spent most of the last five years in prison for aggravated burglary.
Having recently been released, he is determined to maintain his freedom while navigating challenges as a former addict with no stable housing, employment, or financial security. Christian openly discusses his ADHD and difficult childhood, focusing his energy on fitness and sobriety while striving to comply with his bail conditions.
