Five-time Grammy winner PJ Morton is set to appear on “Tamron Hall” this Tuesday, November 12, to discuss his new memoir, “Saturday Night, Sunday Morning: Staying True to Myself from the Pews to the Stage.” Morton will also perform “I Found You” during the episode. While some viewers might be bracing themselves for another celebrity memoir deep dive, Morton’s appearance at least offers the potential for some musical relief amidst the usual daytime talk show fare.
Morton’s book is expected to cover his journey balancing his faith with his career in music. Given his background as both a contemporary gospel and R&B artist, this intersection of spirituality and creativity could offer some genuinely interesting insights.
Joining Morton on the episode are “Millennial Rabbi” Daniel Bortz, discussing modern interpretations of Jewish traditions; podcast host Cadar Mohamud, an advocate for Muslim women; and former trial lawyer turned stand-up comedian and Baptist minister Reverend Susan Sparks, who will be sharing her perspectives on finding humor and purpose in life.
The “Shop Tam Fam” segment will also feature exclusive deals for viewers. Because no daytime talk show is complete without the opportunity to buy something.
“Tamron Hall” airs weekdays at 10:00 AM on ABC.
