Tamron Hall “Thrive in 2025!” (ABC, Thursday, January 2, 2025)

So, 2024 is in the rearview mirror (thank goodness), and 2025 stretches before us, full of promise and the inevitable crushing weight of unrealized resolutions. But fear not, resolution-abandoners! Tamron Hall is here to help you actually thrive in the new year, not just survive it. In this episode, she’s assembled a panel of experts to offer practical advice and motivation for self-improvement across the board.

Motivational speaker Lisa Nichols returns to the show, presumably to remind us that we’re all queens (or kings) and deserve the best. She’ll be sharing tips on how to visualize your goals and set intentions for the year. Aspiring actress Shakyra Lashae will serve as a guinea pig for Nichols’ advice, bravely allowing viewers to judge her “Boldness Barometer” score. I’m picturing a giant thermometer graphic, but who knows.

Next up, Tamron tackles the ever-thorny issue of romance. Certified dating and relationship coach Megan Weks will attempt to steer Tam Fam member Angela Marwaha towards a compatible partner using her trademarked “Manfunnel Method.” I’m skeptical, but desperately hope it involves an actual funnel.

Finally, for those whose New Year’s resolution involves financial stability (and who isn’t broke these days?), former NFL linebacker Brandon Copeland, now a personal finance guru, will offer his wisdom to Samantha Hart, who dreams of homeownership.

Also on tap: Tam Fam’s favorite bodybuilder/grandmother Cynthia Stewart (age 63, muscles of steel) will coach Chantla Israil on her fitness journey. Tune in to ABC on Thursday, January 2 to see if Tamron can deliver the goods.

Tamron Hall airs on ABC, weekdays at 10:00 AM.
