As the series inches toward its finale, the five comedians remain in close contention for the win. The episode’s tasks continue to blend the absurd with the vaguely practical, starting with an incident involving a floating croissant that Sanjeev Bhaskar can only watch helplessly. Ania Magliano and Phil Ellis team up for a challenge with a tower of bricks that, in typical fashion, results in complete chaos.
Other tasks see Maisie Adam attempting to create a “sexy” look using only a feather boa and a pair of shin pads, a test of creative interpretation under pressure. Reece Shearsmith takes a more cerebral approach to one challenge, delivering a silent film homage. Presiding over it all is Greg Davies, with Alex Horne dutifully presenting the tasks, this time appearing in full jockey silks for a segment set in a weighing room.
