Taskmaster Series 17, Channel 4 Premiere 28 March

Get ready for another exciting season of Taskmaster! The popular show is returning in 2024 with its 17th series, set to air on Channel 4. Series creator and task setter Alex Horne will once again be joined by the incomparable and all-powerful Taskmaster himself, Greg Davies.

The new series will feature a fresh lineup of celebrity contestants vying for the coveted title. The series 17 competitors are Joanne McNally, John Robins, Nick Mohammed, Sophie Willan, and Steve Pemberton. They will face an array of hilarious and challenging tasks, from hunting for patatas to playing hoopla with a gorilla and even hugging a special friend.

Fans can mark their calendars for the start of the new series on Thursday, March 28 at 9 PM on Channel 4.

Taskmaster originally premiered in 2015 on Dave before making its move to Channel 4 starting from series 10 in 2020. Over the years, it has become a beloved show known for its unique challenges and witty banter between Greg Davies and Alex Horne.

In addition to the regular series, Taskmaster has also featured one-off New Year’s specials and Champion of Champions shows. Fans have plenty to look forward to as Channel 4 recently announced that they have renewed the show for an additional six series over the next three years.
