Oscar-winner Billy Bob Thornton leads the cast as Tommy Norris, a crisis manager for an oil company. The ensemble cast includes Ali Larter, Michelle Randolph, Jacob Lofland, Kayla Wallace, James Jordan, Mark Collie, Paulina Chávez, and Demi Moore. Jon Hamm has a recurring role, with Andy Garcia and Michael Peña appearing as guest stars.
Set against the backdrop of West Texas boomtowns, Landman examines the lives of oil workers and the wealthy individuals who control the industry. The series promises to explore the industry’s influence on global issues such as climate change, economics, and international politics.
