Teenage Boss: Next Level returns with a new cast, a new location, and the same brutal lesson: running a household isn’t cheap.
Premiering Thursday, July 25, 2025, on ABC iview and Friday, July 26, 2025, on ABC Family, the series hands control of the family budget to ten Tasmanian teens. For four weeks, they’re in charge of everything — bills, food, outings — while also trying to save for big-ticket items like drones, studio gear, and first cars.
Back as host is Emma Watkins, who walks the fine line between mentor and referee. She’s there when the cracks start to show but never steps in to clean up the mess.
Each episode delivers a reality check in real time. Some teens blow the budget on fast food. Others take the slow road, holding out for long-term wins. But all of them face the same pressure: keep the family afloat and keep their parents happy.
This season shifts the focus to regional families, bringing new dynamics into play. Small towns. Bigger gaps between wants and needs. And fewer safety nets when plans fall apart.
Produced by McAvoy Media for the ABC, with John McAvoy and Penny McWhirter executive producing, the format stays lean and grounded. It’s a series about what happens when real kids try to make grown-up choices under their own roof.
