Twelve strangers, a Malaysian jungle, and a hefty £300,000 prize pot – what could go wrong? Quite a lot, as it turns out, especially when temptation enters the equation. “Tempting Fortune,” hosted by Paddy McGuinness, returns to Channel 4 this Sunday, pitting human nature against the lure of luxury.
Equipped with basic rations and even more basic camping gear, the group faces the ultimate test of willpower. As they trek through the challenging terrain of Langkawi, they’re offered something seemingly innocuous – a much-loved item from home. But each indulgence comes with a hefty price tag, deducted from the shared prize money.
This week’s episode sees Vicki struggling with the realities of jungle survival, while the rest of the group grapples with a new temptation: the siren call of a luxury boutique hotel. Will they resist the comforts of civilization or give in to their desires, chipping away at the prize money in the process?
