The sun-drenched dream of a new life in Australia continues for the British families who traded post-war Britain for the promise of better homes and brighter futures. “Ten Pound Poms” returns to BBC iPlayer this Sunday for a second run of six episodes, picking up the threads of hope, disappointment, and complicated relationships forged in a land far from home.

As Season 2 begins, Kate finds herself grappling with the repercussions of a past decision, the weight of it casting a shadow over her attempts to build a new life. Meanwhile, the Roberts family, now coping with the joys and trials of parenthood with a new baby, faces a fresh set of challenges. Their pursuit of opportunity in this unfamiliar land takes unexpected turns, testing their resilience and forcing them to adapt yet again.
