The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo is back on BBC One, presenting a music spectacular with an impressive lineup of performers from around the world. The special, airing on Monday, 26 August 2024, at 6:30 pm, offers a unique cultural experience with a diverse range of acts, all set against the iconic backdrop of Edinburgh Castle.
The Massed Pipes and Drums take centre stage, delivering their signature powerful performance. They are joined by an array of talented artists, including the dynamic Swiss drumming group Majesticks, the vibrant Indian bhangra dancers from Teamwork Arts, and the distinguished US Citadel Regimental Band and Pipes, each contributing to the evening’s musical delights.
The navy is well represented with performances by a cast from HM Royal Marines Bands, the US Navy Ceremonial Guard Drill Team, and the US Navy Sea Services Band.
